I’m a psychotherapist with a depth-oriented, relational approach. My work is informed by training in attachment theory, EMDR, and parts work theories (ego states and IFS).
I specialize in helping parents who are healing their generational wounds, as well as anyone with CPTSD and avoidant attachment tendencies. I work well with folks who are accomplished and may already have insight into their patterns, but struggle with persistent self-doubt, procrastination, or low motivation.
My goal is to help clients understand and heal the deeper patterns shaping their current lives.
Are you a part of a community, in a relationship, a family, or a line of work that used to feel supportive but now feels costly? Do you feel like you are performing, on guard, or run down as a result? Do you feel unable to change because the stakes are so high? I understand and walk the complicated terrain of change with my clients. Many are men, gay men, and LGBTQ+ people seeking support in affirming their identity, navigating relationships, family systems, or religious environments, couples entering a new season or seeking to improve trust and communication, those navigating career, family, and mid life, and cult survivors.
As a former minister turned psychotherapist I've walked through change myself. My practice is grounded in psychological and clinical insight. For some on a spiritual path this enhances therapy. Some are desiring to process religious trauma or limiting aspects of their religious or spiritual background with someone who can understand these environments.
Welcome, I'm Jenn. I am glad you are here. Slowing down and considering your own support can be difficult for many of the folks I work with, and you’ve taken the first step.
My clients tend to be smart, quirky, thoughtful, community-minded professionals. They are also often perfectionists who expect a lot from themselves. Anxiety, depression, dissatisfaction in work and relationships, and burnout can arise when you relate to yourself critically or chronically minimize your own needs.
A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer depth-oriented psychotherapy for adults. I welcome your present challenges, lifetime of experiences, and unique inner world and offer a space where even the most confusing and distressing concerns can be met with warmth and intelligence. I work to model and support you in relating to yourself with kindness and with clear-eyes. From there, you may better connect with your own wisdom and find you can make more confident and kind choices in your relationships and career.
I hold an M.A. in counseling psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies where I trained in holistic approaches to healing emotional pain.
Welcome! I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with young adults, LGBTQ+ people (especially transgender and non-binary), trauma, and emotional instability (including borderline personality disorder). I am currently seeing clients online in California, New York, and Virginia and in person in Berkeley, CA.

Hi! I’m Reina and I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I’m also a Bay Area native, an unapologetic cat lover, a self proclaimed expert of silly reality tv shows, and mom to a sweet, silly little 5 year old.
I work with awesome, fierce women at various stages of motherhood who look like they have it all together on the outside but internally feel like they're consumed with spinning thoughts and worry they're doing it all wrong.
Anxiety and perfectionism have turned your mind into a battleground. Your inner critic nitpicks every interaction, leaving you exhausted by thoughts of “Damnit, why can’t I just be better!” Painful memories get louder, no matter how hard you try to ignore them. Daily invalidations of your Latina, queer, or immigrant identity sting, and you feel isolated as you keep your suffering to yourself. You’ve tried everything: doom scrolling, drinking, and self-help books, but nothing has worked. You're left feeling hopeless and weighed down.
I’m a licensed therapist trained in somatic psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. I work with individuals, couples, and men, supporting clients with anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. I also help people navigating loneliness, work-related stress, and cultural or identity-related experiences, including multiracial relationships. My goal is to help people better understand themselves, their patterns, and how they relate to others. I tend to be warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative, while also being direct when it’s helpful.
Taking the step to seek out therapy can feel scary. You may even be wondering, "how can therapy help?" But feeling alone and overwhelmed with trying to "do it alone" simply isn't working. Welcome...I am so glad you're here. I offer a safe, warm, empathic space to explore what's going on in your life. I help people feel less alone and more able to move through their challenges by bringing curiosity, care and compassion to the work of therapy.
Life is a lot right now. Work stress, family stress, parenting stress, political stress, economic stress. Together, we will chart the path forward to help you feel more like yourself.
I have been a therapist (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) for 11 years and am constantly amazed at the resilience of the human spirit.
I am also an ICF-credentialed Associate Certified Coach (ACC). When appropriate, I'll integrate certain coaching frameworks with clients to support them towards their goals.
