I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I have my Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work. I specialized in military and veteran's mental health in addition to children, youth and families during my graduate studies. I have worked in a wide variety of settings including elementary schools, family law, dependency, foster care, and private practice. I specialize in trauma including childhood, divorce, and family issues.
Having been licensed for past 13 years, I have developed knowledge of many different ways to help people feel better. I see myself as a facilitator of change and the one in charge of suggesting different interventions that I believe will be helpful. I encourage my clients to he honest with me about their progress so that I can adjust and suggest different interventions that may be more helpful to a person.

Hi, I’m Zahra — a licensed therapist and wellness guide who blends traditional psychotherapy with somatic and trauma-informed practices. I help individuals reconnect with their authentic selves, heal from past wounds, and develop the emotional tools they need to thrive. My approach is warm, direct, and integrative — rooted in both evidence-based methods and mind-body modalities.
Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with identity, or burdened by unresolved trauma. Together, we create a space where you can safely explore what’s holding you back and develop healthier patterns in work, relationships, and self-worth.
In our sessions, we may use a combination of talk therapy, nervous system regulation, inner child work, and mindfulness-based practices depending on your needs. I also specialize in helping high-performing individuals (including creatives, professionals, and caregivers) move from burnout to balance.
Whether you're navigating life transitions, complex family dynamics, or seeking deeper self-understanding, my goal is to support your healing journey with compassion, clarity, and curiosity.
