Growing up in a culture where mental health was often stigmatized, I saw how difficult it could be for people to openly talk about their struggles or ask for support. Those experiences shaped my passion for therapy and inspired me to help create a space where people feel comfortable, supported, and understood without fear of judgment.
In my work, I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating a range of life challenges. These experiences have strengthened my belief in meeting each person with empathy, patience, and respect for where they are in their journey, while helping them build on their strengths and move toward meaningful change.
I am an integrative clinician providing psychotherapy, coaching, and mindful medication management to support meaningful and lasting change. I am also a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s from UCSF (2018), where I trained at Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital and Clinics. Additionally, I hold a Sociology degree from Dartmouth College, have completed coursework at the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program, and foundational studies in energy medicine at the Academy of Intuition Medicine. I continue to refine my work through ongoing psychoanalytic supervision.
As a licensed therapist, I deeply value authentic human connection. I see our time together as sacred and hold so much gratitude for the chance to be part of your healing journey. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change—thank you for being here. Let's do this together.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in helping people navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I strive to create a supportive space where clients can explore their experiences without judgement while building practical tools for growth, healing, and lasting change.
It was my own crippling anxiety and painful cycles I eventually realized I was stuck in, and always believing in a narrative I created of failure and not being good enough, that ultimately led me to the path of therapy for both myself and others. It's a never-ending journey toward healing and wholeness, one where we need more self-compassion, grace, and understanding of our own motivations. Let's take back your life and get you where you want to be!
I am a California-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist actively working in the field since 2019. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Jose State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Palo Alto University. I work with a wide range of Clients and diagnoses dealing with topics around coping with life changes, anxiety/stress, depression, mood, relationships, sex, trauma, anger, and harm (to name a few).
I am branching out to the clinical side of social work, and I enjoy meeting and helping new people. I try to always look at situations from the 'how can I help' mindset. I have primarily been treating children with anxiety and depression but also enjoy working with adults. I help clients identify tools to use to reduce stress and anxiety in their lives. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can better understand your thoughts and feelings, begin to process what’s weighing on you, and develop the tools needed to feel more balanced, confident, and in control of your life.
People pleasing is part of your nature...You are dedicated to “getting it right”. You work so hard - in your job or school, your relationships - but it never seems to be enough. You are exhausted. You feel defeated. And despite all efforts, things are still falling apart. The areas of your life that you can’t fully control - a relationship, your job, a circumstance or negative event, a life transition- leave you feeling overwhelmed and anxious. You are ready to feel confident and free from constant worry. You are willing to give therapy another chance... with the right person. I believe that I am that person.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person centered and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) among various other therapy styles, to equip you with evidence-based tools to quickly reduce your anxiety, improve mood, and build confidence.
