I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with first responders, veterans, and individuals in other high-stress professions who are navigating trauma, burnout, anxiety, depression, and the family and relationship challenges that often accompany these careers. In addition to this population, I also work with mom's who are feeling anxiety, burnout, and depression. It is important to explore difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with yourself and the people who matter most to you. Building trust and safety in our sessions is always my first priority.
What makes my practice unique is my personal experience with responder and veteran culture and being a mom, which allows me to offer not only clinical expertise, but a genuine understanding of the realities, pressures, and unspoken challenges that come with these professions.
I am deeply passionate about this work because I see the daily demands you face, and I believe you deserve a space where you are truly understood and supported. My goal is to help you feel mentally healthier, grounded, and better equipped to manage the weight of your work, whatever that might be, so you can continue to serve with strength while also enjoying your life and career.
One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. We all face challenges and deal with roadblocks, and sometimes these stressors make it challenging to start knowing who you are and how to find your purpose.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, panic, grief, anger, and the kind of chronic stress that builds up quietly over time. My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused — we'll spend time understanding what's weighing on you, but we'll also build practical coping skills you can actually use between sessions. I've worked across a range of settings — inpatient psychiatric care, case management, group home work, and private practice — which means I'm comfortable with a wide range of presentations. As an LCSW licensed in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and Montana, I can also be a stable point of contact if you move or split time between states. Therapy is a deeply personal journey, and I'd be glad to walk it with you.
I began my career as a Fulbright Scholar, conducting research on traditional medicine in Sochi, Russia. I presented my work at the United States Embassy in Moscow, highlighting cross-cultural perspectives in healthcare and integrative practice.
After completing my grant, I attended New York University (NYU). I then completed a residency at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. I went on to earn my doctorate from the University of San Diego, California, where I focused on digital telehealth treatment for psychiatric care.
I am passionate about working with Veterans and individuals experiencing Depression, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders. In 2023, I completed CIIS training in psychedelic-assisted therapy. In 2025, I was among the first providers in Colorado and in the country to become licensed as a psilocybin facilitator.
Welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist and am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). If you struggle with insomnia, you are not alone - up to 70 million Americans have problems with sleep. I'm here to tell you that you don't have to "just live with it" for the rest of your life. With CBT-I, you can learn how to respond to insomnia in a more workable way and take back control of your life. I love to help people sleep better and am currently accepting new clients!
