I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in adults coping with various mental health disorders including Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Dementia, and Schizophrenia. . I serve clients who are coping with symptoms related to various diagnoses that are often exacerbated by life transitions (i.e., aging, divorce, empty nest, retirement, family dynamics, and health challenges). Many of my clients have found themselves unexpectedly in the role of a caregiver to loved ones coping with chronic health conditions. This adjustment can be both emotionally draining and overwhelming. My goal is to help the individual navigate through these challenges through reflection, learning coping strategies and building or strengthening support networks that will assist in coping with life’s challenges.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care—I strive to meet clients where they are and support them in building resilience and lasting well-being
