I believe healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in practical tools that create meaningful change. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and ADHD.
I aim to create a space where you can show up fully — without judgment — while also being gently challenged toward growth. Therapy with me is not just about talking through problems; it’s about building awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing skills that help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
My style is warm, direct, and supportive. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions. Whether you’re working through past experiences or trying to manage current stressors, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe while still encouraging progress.
I am especially passionate about helping individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from their sense of purpose. My goal is to support you in honoring who you are while discovering who you’re becoming.
Welcome! My name is Kristina Shamp, LCSW. I'm passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. Throughout the years of working as a therapist, I have primarily focused on substance use concerns. I have also worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, negative thought patterns, relationship difficulties, communication challenges, and issues related to self-esteem and self-worth. My goal for every client is to feel supported and understood - especially during times when they may feel alone.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and hold a Master's in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College.
I work with young adult and adult clients who have concerns related to anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, ADHD, or life transitions that are impacting daily functioning.
You should know that I bring both warmth and experience into the therapy space. I have over four years of experience providing therapy to individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, past trauma and emotional challenges.
Hi! I am a board certified DNP-PMHNP-BC. I started my career in traditional health practices as a Fulbright Scholar in Sochi, Russia. I presented my research at the US Embassy in Moscow. Following the completion of my grant I attended New York University (NYU). From there I completed a residency at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Following this I entered and completed my doctorate at USD University of San Diego, California with a focus on digital telehealth treatment for psychiatric care. I have a passion for working with the veteran population and those seeking care outside the box. I recently completed my facilitation for psychadelic assisted therapy and have an additional practice in Denver, Colorado. I enjoy yoga, swimming and all the water sports!
I work from a client-centered perspective that utilizes vulnerability, genuineness, empathy, and unconditional positive regard to help those I work with safely explore the stressors and other life circumstances that may be negatively impacting their sense of peace and well-being in order to find effective strategies that will help achieve a balanced, happy, and healthy life. I have been providing clinical services since 2009 and speak both English and Spanish with native fluency.
I am a insight oriented therapist that strongly believes that "there is always hope for a better tomorrow". I am an experienced therapist specializing in issues of depression, phobias, PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, ADD, eating disorders and obsessions. I work particularly well with couple/marital issues, family issues and drug addiction.
Welcome to my page and congratulations on taking the first step to improved mental health. My name is Stephanie and I have been a social worker for the past 13 years. I have since had much experience working with adolescents and adults with both medical and mental health challenges.
