I believe that meaningful change starts with feeling truly seen and understood. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges and stress. My approach is warm, humorous, collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices. Together, we will create a space where you can safely explore what's going on beneath the surface, build insight and develop practical tools to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
As a dual-licensed counselor in mental health and substance use, I believe caring for our whole body health means prioritizing our psychological and emotional well-being. It's not always easy to ask for help when we need it, so I admire your courage to seek help! I have worked in the mental health field for about 10 years, but for the last few years, I have worked as a licensed counselor supporting adults who experience a range of mental health challenges including trauma and PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) providing virtual therapy for adults in North Carolina. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, emotional overwhelm, ADHD-related challenges, and relationship stress.
As a Licensed Therapist, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! In my years as a therapist I have gained experience with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, addiction, adjustment disorders and relationship difficulties. I work individuals from ages 21 +. I currently do not to accept EAPs.
My name is Shannon Murray and I have been in the field for 11 years. I am experienced working with individuals of all ages in the outpatient setting. I have generalized education from my Masters program in social work from the University of Maine guiding my work for individuals who also struggle with anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflict.
I believe we do our best based on what we’ve learned from important relationships and situations. We feel distress when what we’ve learned no longer works and our coping skills get overwhelmed. With the right conditions, growth can occur.
With over 20+ years of experience with clients across the spectrums of age, ethnicity, sexual and gender identity, religious/spiritual orientation, income level, and ability status, I've learned to practice with cultural humility.
