I work with adults who grew up with emotionally immature or emotionally unavailable parents. Many come in feeling lonely, empty, or misunderstood, often stuck in people‐pleasing, low self‐esteem, anxiety, or depression, and unsure of who they are or how to form lasting emotional connections. I also support clients facing work stress, major life transitions, and grief. Together, we slow things down, build insight, strengthen identity and boundaries, and develop skills for emotional regulation and healthier relationships so clients feel more grounded, confident, and connected.
Thank you so much for considering me as your next therapist. I have been working in the mental health field for the past 25 years in a variety of settings and with various groups, and have been practicing as an LPC for the past three years.
I feel honored to work with clients who face challenges related to anxiety, depression, major life transitions and trauma. I thoroughly believe that healing can be obtained by anyone and everyone is worthy of discovering a life worth living.
I'm a fellow millennial who gets just how tough "adulting" can be. Maybe your days are just passing by, life is feeling harder or less enjoyable than it should, or you do not have someone who "just gets you". Therapy is for everyone. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, or uncertain about which direction to take in life, I'm here to walk with you through it. Together, we'll explore where you are and where you want to go, at a pace that feels right for you.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with individuals struggling with substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, identity exploration, and difficult life transitions. I also have experience working with adolescents and understand the unique emotional, relational, and developmental challenges that can come during those years.
I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely safe, understood, and respected. My goal is to create a space where clients can show up honestly without fear of judgment. I know that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or vulnerable, especially for people who are used to carrying things on their own, and I take seriously the trust it takes to open up to another person.
I am an LGBTQ-affirming clinician and believe deeply in creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients can explore their experiences authentically. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s individual story and lived experience.
Much of my work centers around helping people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to move forward. Whether someone is navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, or major life stressors, I aim to help them feel less alone while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
Above all, I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most important parts of the healing process. Research consistently shows that a strong connection between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of success in therapy. Because of that, I place a high value on building a relationship grounded in trust, honesty, collaboration, and authenticity.
Hello, and welcome.
If you’re here, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply exhausted by the challenges life is bringing right now. You are not alone, and you do not have to navigate it by yourself. I believe that with support, self-awareness, and practical tools, meaningful change is possible.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 25 years of counseling experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds. Much of my work has focused on helping individuals manage anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, academic pressures, career uncertainty, and work-life balance. I have extensive experience supporting college students, professionals, and individuals navigating periods of change, self-doubt, and personal growth.
My counseling style is supportive, collaborative, and solution-focused. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Gottman-informed relationship approaches to help clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Together, we will explore patterns, identify strengths, and develop strategies that align with your values and goals.
I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take ownership of their growth and wellbeing. My hope is that therapy helps you build clarity, confidence, balance, and a stronger sense of purpose moving forward.
