I have been a licensed therapist in the Boston area for 25 years having graduated from the University of Virginia and Boston University School of Social Work. I have experience with inpatient and partial hospital treatment, but found that I love working with clients individually on an outpatient basis. Though I worked in a substance abuse program, my clients presented with many other issues including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, self-esteem, grief and loss, and relationship conflicts.

There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.” — John Green I have worked in the field of social work for over ten years, driven by a passion that began while supporting adolescents in a clinical day school setting. That early experience solidified my commitment to furthering my education and pursuing a career in social work. Throughout my career, I have gained experience across a variety of settings, including schools, medical facilities, child welfare, outpatient care, and crisis services. This diverse background has allowed me to develop a flexible, client-centered approach tailored to individuals’ unique needs.
Many of the adults I work with grew up feeling unseen—whether because of childhood trauma, emotionally unavailable parents, or painful relationship patterns. Those early experiences can stay with us, shaping the way we see ourselves and connect with others. Over time, it can feel like you’re stuck in the same cycles, questioning your worth, or struggling to build the relationships you want.
Becoming a therapist felt like a natural calling: a way to combine compassion with practical tools to help people heal, grow, and find balance. Over the years, I’ve seen how therapy can transform lives—restoring hope, strengthening relationships, and helping clients rewrite the stories they tell themselves. That transformation is what inspires me every day to do this work with warmth, empathy, and genuine care. I absolutely love what I do and I feel very blessed to do this work everyday.
