If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone.
’m a bilingual (Spanish-English) therapist with over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, emotional challenges, and relationship stress. I also work with teens and children facing behavioral, academic, and emotional concerns.
I hold Master’s degrees in Social Work from NYU and in Clinical Psychology from the Psychiatric Hospital of Caracas. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical—helping you gain clarity, build self-worth, and create healthier, more secure connections.
I believe meaningful change begins with connection. Let’s start there.
Very friendly and calm. Like to get to know my patients.
Therapy offers a supportive, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space to explore our experiences, patterns, and the stories we tell ourselves. It’s a place to pause, reflect, make meaning, and begin to create change. I view my role as a therapist as both a mirror and a partner in this change. I help you reflect on your experiences with curiosity and compassion, while supporting you as you move toward the life you want to build.
Growing up in a culture where mental health was often stigmatized, I saw how difficult it could be for people to openly talk about their struggles or ask for support. Those experiences shaped my passion for therapy and inspired me to help create a space where people feel comfortable, supported, and understood without fear of judgment.
In my work, I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating a range of life challenges. These experiences have strengthened my belief in meeting each person with empathy, patience, and respect for where they are in their journey, while helping them build on their strengths and move toward meaningful change.
FOUR DECADES/FIVE LIVES:
My first clinical life, I provided in home behavior management training to families with children with developmental disorders.
Secondly, I provided individual and group therapy for neglected/abused teenagers in residential care.
Thirdly, I provided therapy to clients, in a community based practice.
Number four involved working as a therapist for the Aspergers Department of a CMHC.
My fifth/current journey began in 2013, providing therapy and clinical supervision.
