Hello! My name is Erin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. With my extensive experience in the arts I have always celebrated the variety and creativity of people. In my most recent role working with people going through the judicial system, my belief that some of the greatest work can be accomplished when a person is provided a non judgmental and safe ear, has only strengthened.
As a Black, queer, neurodivergent clinician, I know I have a unique perspective when it comes to mental health and wellbeing. If you are looking for someone different, someone who will really listen to your concerns, and help you achieve your goals, don't look further. I am an integrative psychiatric provider, and I believe that mental health is a lot more than medications, but medications can also help! I am inclusive and enjoy working with a diverse group of individuals that struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, autism, and ADHD. I also enjoy working with "higher functioning" folx and professionals. *I see clients ages 16 -65 years old.*
I believe that therapy can be an essential tool used to maintain a well-balanced, healthy, and fulfilling life. As a therapist, I find it important to create a safe and friendly environment. I strive to always be in tune with what you need and assist you in exploring whatever difficulty you may be experiencing.
For the last 19+ years I've helped some of New York's bravest, most creative beings dial down/alleviate distress of many flavors, shapes and sizes.
I am a licensed mental health professional in NY state. I enjoy working with individual who are dedicated to finding themselves. We will all go through challenging times. My goal is to increase resilience in all of my clients.
Hello there! I'm Jillian. I am warm, compassionate, nonjudgmental, creative and funny (at least I think so). I have been helping people for nearly two decades and I have extensive training in several evidence-based practices, including EMDR, EFT Tapping, TF-CBT, and DBT. My specialty is trauma work, but I have also helped clients resolve a wide range of other concerns (see above).
I am a strengths based, solution focused therapist who believes we all have an inherent ability to heal, but that ability may be blocked by difficult and traumatic life events.
I’m a native New Yorker and earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Fordham University. I have over 18 years of experience working with people of all ages, from young children to older adults. I currently support children, families, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is warm, empathetic, and solution-focused, and I believe in working together as a team. I meet clients where they are and help them build practical tools to move toward healing and meaningful change.
