I am an experienced and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my clinical career, I have specialized in working with children and adults involving traumatic related experiences, anxiety, and relationship issues.
My approach to therapy is one of mutual respect and collaboration. I help clients face challenges head on and develop strategies to make life more fulfilling. I believe in the power of a strong, therapeutic relationship and believe it is vital to making progress together. I have extensive experience working with LGBT folks, those who've experienced trauma, and those with depression and anxiety.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I obtained a MSEd from Duquesne University, with a concentration in School Counseling. My mental health career started after graduating from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I went on to work in a group home with young adults, as a crisis technician at a 24/7 walk-in center, and as a mental health service coordinator for children and adolescents. In addition to my private practice counseling work, I have experience as a school counselor working with both elementary and middle school-aged students.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Counseling and have spent 20+ years in social services supporting people with autism, IDD, trauma, and mood challenges. My work is grounded, affirming, and shaped by real-world experience with diverse, often underserved communities.
I support individuals navigating life’s transitions—whether that means marriage, divorce, retirement, relocation, empty nesting, menopause, or simply the quiet realization that life is asking for something new.
My practice is rooted in culturally responsive, client-centered care that honors the full complexity of who you are—not just the labels others may place on you. I believe healing begins when people feel truly seen, understood, and supported without judgment.
While I work with individuals from all walks of life, I have a special passion for supporting women of color, particularly those 55 and older, who are redefining themselves in powerful new seasons of life.
You do not have to navigate change alone.
Together, we will work toward the life you are seeking—personally, professionally, and spiritually.
